Mini-splits are having a moment, and for good reason — they're efficient, quiet, and give you room-by-room control. But they aren't right for every home.

Choose ductless when: you're adding a bonus room, a converted garage, or a home office. Also great for older homes without existing ductwork.

Choose central when: you already have healthy ducts, you want a single thermostat for the whole house, or you value the invisible aesthetic of ceiling vents.

The hybrid answer. Plenty of our clients keep central for the main living areas and add a mini-split in a hard-to-heat room. Best of both worlds, and usually cheaper than a full central upgrade.

We'll take a look, do a proper Manual J load calc, and give you the honest recommendation — even if it's 'your current system is fine, wait two years.'
