Anthem sits at the northern edge of the Valley, tucked under Daisy Mountain where the desert opens up and the traffic thins out. It was built as a master-planned community and it shows in the best way: a central park with a lake and a miniature railroad, trails running out into the Sonoran desert, and a veterans memorial that draws people from across the state every November. Families moved up here for room to breathe without giving up the Valley, and they got it.
What Anthem also has is thousands of homes built within a few years of each other, which means systems that age on the same schedule and fail on the same schedule. When four houses on one street lose their AC in the same month, that's not bad luck — that's a batch.
